Three Train Types

The Tokyo Monorail operates three types of trains.

The Haneda Express connects Monorail Hamamatsucho Station in Minato City with Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station in Ota City in as little as about 18 minutes. Haneda Express Stops at Monorail Hamamatsucho Station and the three Haneda Airport terminal stations.

Rapid Stops at all Haneda Express stations, plus Tennozu Isle, Oi Keibajo-mae, and Ryutsu Center. Local Stops at every station.

With a maximum operating speed of 80 km/h, the Tokyo Monorail is one of the fastest monorail systems in Japan.

There are four stations in the Haneda Airport area. Haneda Airport is the common name for Tokyo International Airport.
